The SOB02 has the thread situated further into the body of the silencer, reducing the length added to the barrel by 40mm. Both silencers are the same length in total and same diameter. Comes complete with a tool to remove the thread.

The ERA Silencers from Recknagel are a revolution. The lightweight silencer provides superb sound reduction in comparision to others on the market. The use an internal baffle system within a solid one-piece outer body. The added benefit of interchangeable threads allows the user to swap between multiple threads in the same calibre group. There are multiple models SOB01, SOB02 and SOB3D, all have their different features and designs.

One of the added benefits of the ERA Silencer range is that you can replace the internal thread bush. So for example, if you have a M14x1 fitted and switch your rifle to one with a 1/2" x 20 UNF threaded muzzle. You can simply exchange the the internal moderator thread and use the moderator on the new rifle. Bear in mind that the silencers are calibre specific, so the new rifle would have to be within the same calibre group also.
