These Aluminium Tri-Nut Rings are precision made by Recknagel. Mounts will suit Picatinny Rail and Weaver Rail, they are clamped using a Tri-Nut screw bolt, using the Tri-Nut wrench supplied.
The Recknagel Tri-Nut Fitting mounts are ideal for fitting your rings to the rail and leaving them on.
The ring cap is secured with four Allen or Hex screws for a very secure hold, this is 2.5mm size fitting. This 2.5mm Allen wrench is not included but is widely available.

This is the third set of Recknagel ‘Tri Nut’ mounts I’ve purchased. Where they score over many mounts is that they have the reassurance of being clamped with a proper steel bolt, so that you can tighten them to your preferred torque, however, the Tri Nut spanner that is supplied with them, effectively makes them ‘quick release’.
They are very well machined, light and strong and I have used them on heavy S & B glass and thermal scopes. Would highly recommend these mounts. Although they are not cheap, they are also not as expensive as some other mounts that offer the same level of quality.
